Music has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I am a proud First Nations woman with family roots in Norway House and Peguis. I grew up in the North End and my music career began there, when at 11 years old I competed in my first talent show at the community fair on Selkirk Avenue. I grew up at a time when there wasn't many Rock n Roll women on the scene and I love being part of a generation that changed that. Since then I have been involved in music as a lead singer, band member and karaoke host. I took breaks to have my five babies during that time, but now that I am proud kookum to six grand babies, and I make most of my time for them and my music.
I love to bring the joy of music to people and events am available for bookings of all sizes and can provide musical entertainment from professional karaoke to full ensemble live bands. I am currently the lead singer of the band ‘SHE” and do cameo appearances with my previous band of Indigenous Lady Rockers - GURLZ, GURLZ, GURLZ.
